Originally designed alongside Victoria Beckham, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque was one of the first city-inspired SUVs on the market. The compact SUV was still practical while offering all the off-road capabilities you can expect from a Range Rover. This helped make the Evoque one of the most popular Range Rovers in the last decade.
The new Evoque seeks to extend its lead on the competition with a modern design and the latest in driving technology aimed at bringing the Range Rover experience to the 21st century. The Range Rover Evoque has evolved the interior of the car as well, taking inspiration from the larger Velar in almost every department.

10/10 Modern New Design
The Evoque was released back in 2011 and came in a unique design. The SUV was designed as a city runner with the help of pop icon, Victoria Beckham. The first generation of the Evoque came in three and five-door variants before a convertible model was released in 2017.
The second generation of the Evoque builds on the popularity of the vehicle by modernizing both the exterior and interior design. The exterior features slim, clean lines and an aggressive, wide front end to match. The Evoque also comes with an iconic two-toned paint scheme that has become synonymous with the Range Rover brand.

9/10 Interior Craftsmanship
The interior of the Range Rover Evoque takes the brand to a whole new level. The steering wheel is modern and sleek but follows the same shape and design as previous models. The internal displays are completely redesigned, with both the gauge cluster and infotainment screen going completely digital.
The interior quality of the Evoque is second to none. While you may think the Evoque is the most affordable SUV in the range, it’s still built to the same standards as the classic Range Rover. You can choose from hundreds of color and leather combinations when designing your Evoque, allowing for more customization than ever before.

8/10 Customize Your Evoque
As mentioned above, Range Rover allows you to fully customize your new Evoque. To start, you can choose between three different trim levels. This includes the standard Evoque, the R-Dynamic, and the special edition HST model.
While the different trims are set up slightly differently, there are two main powertrain options you can choose from. The first being the P250 4-cylinder engine and the more powerful P300 4-cylinder MHEV engine. The more powerful hybrid engine is exclusive to the HST model while the rest of the range comes with the 143 HP P250 powertrain.
7/10 Impressive Performance
It’s no secret that the Range Rover Evoque was built for cruising around the city. The interior is proof of this as Range Rover did not hold back from filling the SUV with every luxurious feature you could imagine. However, this does not mean that the Evoque is by any means slow or incapable of going off-road.
The standard Range Rover Evoque comes with the P250 4-cylinder engine that can produce 143 HP and 269 lb-ft of torque. This model can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 7 seconds but comes with the power to tow almost 4,000 lbs. This makes it a practical SUV while still remaining a classy and elegant city SUV.
6/10 Hybrid Option
The hybrid powertrain in the Range Rover Evoque is a mild hybrid system. This means that you don’t need to plug in the car to charge as the traditional engine will actively charge and deploy the electrical motor for maximum efficiency.
The P300 MHEV powertrain found in the HST model is the most powerful powertrain option available with the new Range Rover Evoque. This engine can produce 296 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. The acceleration of the HST model is slightly better than the standard model as it can accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 6.5 seconds. This model also comes with a unique look and adds black accents all around the SUV. This helps make the model stand out compared to the rest of the Evoque range.
5/10 Off-Road Capabilities
The Range Rover Evoque may be elegant, but it’s still a Land Rover at the end of the day. This means that it has the power and underlying capability to tackle any terrain with ease. The Range Rover Evoque can tow an unbraked trailer up to 1,653 lbs. and has a maximum towing capacity of just under 4,000 lbs.
The Evoque is also incredibly practical, with a trunk space of around 21.6 cubic feet. There is also a roof rack that can hold up to 165 lbs. of cargo if you need a bit extra. The Evoque also comes with dynamic features designed specially to tackle off-road driving, making it the perfect family SUV for every occasion.
4/10 Convenience Features
The Evoque is a city SUV and comes with tons of convenience features to make your daily commute that much easier. The Range Rover Evoque comes with tons of safety and driver’s aids such as lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control but also offers keyless entry, auto start-stop, emergency braking, and a gesture-operated tailgate.
The convenience features extend into the cabin with wireless charging, overnight software upgrades, and an optional online pack. The online pack offers a built-in SIM card to allow unlimited streaming to your Evoque from anywhere in the country.

3/10 New Range Rover Infotainment System
The infotainment system is one of the most notable improvements within the new Evoque. While the exterior has been overhauled and modernized, the infotainment system has gone through a much-needed upgrade as well.
The system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but offers a wide range of unique features itself. The center console features two massive screens with the main control system being a 10-inch touchscreen. The Evoque also comes with a Meridian surround sound system for crystal clear audio in every seat.
2/10 Perfect For The Whole Family
The Evoque is ultimately a family car and comes with enough space for the entire family. The compact SUV can comfortably seat five adults and has the ability to tow or carry cargo for any kind of road trip across the country.
The new technology and driving features of the Evoque help make it the perfect all-around package. While some may flock to a BMW for more class and a Land Rover for off-road capabilities, the Range Rover meets both expectations perfectly in the middle. This makes it the perfect family car for every occasion.

1/10 Range Rover Evoque HST
While there are a few different trim and powertrain options available for the new Range Rover Evoque, the ultimate version of the car is the HST model. This model goes all-out to prove what the Evoque is capable of both in design and performance.
As mentioned before, the HST is the model that gets the hybrid powertrain that can produce almost 296 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. While the powertrain upgrades are noteworthy, the car also comes with the Black Exterior Pack and the Black Contrast Roof. This gives the car a unique and aggressive look.
